Stracta Hotel - Hella

The room is reasonably priced. Extraordinary service-minded staff and really make it a good place to stay.

Everything was really good, so were fantastic views over the sea and the Westman Islands. My studio apartment was available with a fridge, an electric kettle and a microwave. Location: the hotel was so close to several touristy sites in South, restaurant and bar area and the many attractions. I ate in the a la carte restaurant nearby.

Our favourite place to stay in Hella. Competent staff throughout. The restaurant was very clean, for dinner.

I loved that I was just a short walk of less than 5 minutes to both the Hekla Centre and Restaurant Kanslarinn, making my stay even better while exploring the beautiful surroundings, and the hot tub experience under the stars was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of adventure.

I thoroughly enjoyed the spacious, well-lit rooms equipped with modern decor. The accessibility throughout the hotel made it easy for me to navigate, and I appreciated the cute atmosphere from the staff.

The hot tub outside was a highlight it was open until midnight and beautiful under the stars. The breakfast had so much variety fresh made waffles and great fruit.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but it was still acceptable.

I loved soaking in the outdoor hot tub under the stars! The breakfast was a good spread, especially the self-made waffles and fresh pastries. Plus, the architecture not only provided amazing light but also offered beautiful views of the northern lights 🌌

Had a cozy stay with my niece for 2 nights, enjoying the hot tub and sauna while watching the snow fall around us. The hotel offers great relaxation in the jacuzzi and sauna, making it perfect after exploring Iceland. The only downside was the hot tubs were often busy, but overall it was such a delightful experience! 😊
